The Bold, The Turquoise & The Colorful

Hello My Beautiful Readers,

Welcome back to my blog and before I get to the main point on today’s blog, I have some very exciting news, I have joined the adult category y’all hashtag excited, LOL. What is the adult category, I have recently bridged into the working class and hey, guess who is paying taxes? Me that’s who! Ha! hating the adult life already. In addition to that I used to post at least 4 times a week but now with work on my plate, it’s going to be a little challenging therefore I have been trying to acclimatize with the work environment and I think I will be able to have a post up every after two days, so expect 3 post instead of the 4 to 5 in a week. Am sorry for any of the inconveniences caused but all in all its all part of growth.

Back at it, the color turquoise is blowing up for me this season – it’s  flattering & hives the feminine and empowering qualities it possesses. Its eye-catching property can also make it a tricky shade to wear, as it can be easily over done, particularly with other bold colors that’s why I toned it down with this shade of black. With some few styling tips, you too can incorporate brighter pieces into your wardrobe without making such a scene

Well fortunately for you I have learned to master the art of styling loud and bold colors by appropriately toning them down with clean neutrals & base colors. Styled in the right way turquoise can be worn from dresses, coats, scarfs, purses and satchels. The same rules apply to the same colors of the same brightness level, Malin tones down bright, flowing blues and bright reds with classy neutrals or by mixing and matching or better yet monochrome.

I wore this outfit to work, and it’s not as work appropriate on its on try adding up a blazer for a more formal outfit and make sure the pants are high-waist… I had a black blazer and for the love of me I don’t know why I didn’t have it on me in any of the photos, but hey you get the idea. It can be one of those outfits that can transform from work to after hours chilling with friends or drinks with the colleagues. More on the outfit details below and enjoy the rest of the pictures and as always steal my style away don’t forget to tag me on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr when you post them @misskymmiee..
