Hello my beautiful readers & welcome back to my Blog,
what is Parisienne you ask….
Parisienne – a female native or resident of Paris
I had this blog title the moment I spotted the big nude hat and I knew there and then I had to have this post and look book made, I mean come on, can we all take a moment and admire my golden tressure, how gorgeous is it? and not to mention the fact that it falls in the neutral category!!… I bought my dad a similar hat only falling in love with it the moment I tried it on and I knew I had to get mine ASAP!!. So I never knew I was obeying some off the popular Parisienne rules without even knowing it, check them out Here with that out of the table is safe to say am french HaHa!!
I was all ready and pumped to write this article , too excited I ended up pouring milkshake on my bed how clumsy can I get??? BUT THAT WONT TAKE MY MOOD DOWN…. I think I could pass as a French-African Blogger but my French will be too deep that it ends up over powering my African side HA!! and hence, the Parisian blogger Title…. I think Parisians tend to be the most classy people ever and they are so Sophisticated and tend to pull almost any look… I mean exhibit A: Paris Fashion week never seizes to amaze me every single time, but again its a single mans approach here.
whats the story behind this look?? I mean besides me trying my French Side, I wore this look last weekend and I had just felt like dressing up and having some me time, I had an idea of standing out for a one major reason I was out on a solo ride and I didn’t want to get lost in the crowd hence; the pop of color for a feminine yet sophistication that comes with the color yellow.
I happen to meet my Cousin Sallie who I hadn’t seen in more like 4 years give or take and she happens to be the photographer who captured this beautiful moment and the sun rays, definitely check her instagram account. I tend to dress a lot of monochrome and neutrals of late but from time to time I tend to be bold and daring and mixing it up a little.
To achieve an edgy look I got me the hat & nothing says am french like a good old hat & a Trench coat but the weather couldn’t allow me to do so sadly. This has become my newest addiction thanks to Carly Cristman she definitely sets the bar high. However, she is one of the most down to earth people and has a great vibe, definitely check her YouTube channel. The white-creamy shirt which happens to save a double purpose as a basic staple piece one and also as a styled up dress but that’s a story for another time, I have had this jeans for probably a year now and they came ripped and fitting and TBH one of my favourite denim to date. and don’t forget your statement Necklace. Check out below for outfit details and where I shopped them from & let me know your thoughts on the comment section below.
