Hello my Beautiful Readers,
How are y’all doing? Am excited to share with you my Monday’s work-style inspiration. I was going for an edgy look with a tint of glam and class, & am still struggling with the title of this post, Ha! I was inspired to create this look for the corporate ladies who are bound by uniforms in work places, fortunately for me am free to wear almost anything to work, well except sweatpants; I mean I haven’t tried those yet, but am sure I could incorporate them into something more… So from time to time I love playing by the corporate dress codes, such times include today…
Business work uniforms or corporate ladies wear doesn’t have to be boring as long as you follow the office dress code then you are fine…Corporate wear like blazers, straight-leg pants, pencil skirt, and button-down shirts are off-the-rack garments you can have to create endless combinations conveniently. Whether you’re in the traditional business or corporate work environment.
Well, we all know you are what you wear, so what you choose to wear to work or at a business environment says a lot about you, the big question is what to wear from Monday to Friday? having in mind that you need to be stylish yet in-line with the business dress code conducts. As we go on, I will share with you various looks to style to work. In my opinion however, I always think Mondays have to be strictly professional and Fridays strictly Casual, whereas Tuesday to Thursday are a combination of both.
The catch i face by being a fashion blogger all through and an employee by day is that, I always have to express my sense of style whilst maintaining an official look. To be honest it can be a bit challenging because the bar is set a little bit higher for me, as I always have to look my best self everyday, even on days that I would like to wear an over-sized tee and call it a day, yes I have those moments, almost every other day & no am not complaining, as for me fashion is more than a choice its my lifestyle.
I wore a chic sweater tucked in a cream peplum skirt, black heeled sandals and a Celine handbag, and I accessorized was the chic hat to bring a bit of chic mystery and edge to the entire look, two anklets and a golden chain… more on the outfit details below. Tag me when you do this look as always on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter @Misskymmiee. till then have a productive week.
